  • Great content- Bad execution

    By crawpdx
This app has been around for almost three years and it still has the same problems- slow load times, glitchy UX and the cost continues to go up. As the cost goes up, the content quality does not. Communication from Topps is almost non-existent in terms of app fixes. One update causes 10 more problems. If this wasn’t Star Wars, this app would have died long ago.
  • Don’t waste your time unless you’re looking to spend $$

The only way to get anywhere in these games is to purchase credits so unless you’re looking to spend quite a bit $$ don’t waste your time!
  • Fun and addictive

    By Boone24forREAL
This app is really fun since it's Star Wars. It gets addictive after a little bit. New cards everyday and challenges for free credits. I enjoy it and rating 4 star because it gets laggy sometimes. GeneralGrievous is my fan name. Alright, the top portion WAS 2 years ago.. right now this app is sadly not fun anymore. If you want cards you practically have to use real money now. Took the fun out. Have to make it 1 Star now

I have played this for over 2 years. This game, over the years has greatly changed, but not usually for the better. Originally, they had one type of currency, good odds, and no real reason to spend money. Over time this game introduced sets that you must spend money to get or a rather expensive pack with really high odds. This year they introduced a new currency which is crystals. Now many sets can only really be collected by spending money for crystal packs. In the game, many sets are released on a daily basis and are very hard to keep up. Many of the cards have no real way to tell which series it’s from and makes it real hard to trade. As well as that, awards in the game are usually given out too soon, or, asks for too much in general. Many sets now have low card counts and usually only people who spend money can get these cards. One set has a crystal pack that gives a 1:3 odds for a card which the pack costs around $10 each time or more and another much cheaper crystal version that would be 1:75 odds for the same cards. This game is not really bad, but costs enough money to really get into the game. I really like the fact that recently they have been responding to many of our requests and have said that they were going to do the best they can to fulfill some of our requests. But overall, if it has less pay-to-win aspects, lower odds, and new cards of sets coming out a little less often, this would be a great game again. Update December 2017: The game has introduced multiple cards in which you must spend at least $20 to get a pack guaranteed with the new card. A digital relic! They overcharge and within two days, they add another card equally as popular for even more money! This is why I have updated this review to two stars from three stars. Update Last Week of December 2017: $1000 pack?! For an entire set of signature cards and dark purple base series 5 cards. They also added a pack that costs about $200... This game had went from decent to If you spend money in this game, you would be beaten up in an alley. I am not exaggerating. February 2018: The game is clearly focused on users who would spend money on a daily basis. There are two to three packs that are credits and a majority of new sets are crystal only. It is near impossible to now enjoy this game. Topps has very little care for the user and the experience, but cares about profitability. Do not download this application.
  • The best game

When I first started playing this game it became very memorable to all these old school cards I lived with
  • This is now a legitimate gambling app

    By k.loss7
This was once a fun app. Topps has now changed that. You now pay money for crystals for a chance at a card. Why this is not considered real gambling is beyond me because that's exactly what it is. Topps has completely taken advantage of its costumers. Plus if you you ever run into not an issue (happens often) you can expect the most incompetent non caring people to completely blow you off. UPDATE: was being harassed by a trader and topps customer service would not even acknowledge it. Would just keep avoiding the conversation all together. Also, don't defend yourself on the app because topps will consider that bullying. if you are a female be aware and screenshot any and all inappropriate comments (especially in 1:1 trades) and take them to someone else that will listen...topps obviously will not. I have been on the app since 2015 and it happened a number of times by many different traders. I am done!
  • Still can’t swipe cards

    By AmyColton
You know how app let you swipe left and right though card interfaces? Yeah, this app used to work like that, you could swipe swipe swipe though cards quickly like you were holding the cards in your hand. Magical. Unfortunately, Topps thought it would be a good idea to ruin the swiping and make is so slow and clunky it’s no longer fun to use. I will not use this app until this is fixed.
  • Used to be great

    By Ijusydontxare
But not anymore. All cards used to be free, but how you have to buy crystals to get what you want.
  • Formerly great fun. Now a blatant cash grab

    By radium226
This app has gone completely down the drain. I used to have a lot of fun in it (in game name RA226) and sure it was buggy, but there were cool images and fun to be had for free. I even threw down a little actual cash as a thank you to the devs for making a fun game. But all through it, the squeeze to get you to spend real money gradually increased. Then, as many have said, Crystals were introduced and all pretenses were out the window. A clear cash grab—there are barely any packs available to free players now. A sad state to see a once-great and enjoyable app fall to. Sorry Topps. You once had a great thing that people like me were happy to throw a few bucks at from time to time beachside it was fun. You got greedy. In the end, I’m not spending real money on jpegs. And I’m especially not spending real much net on a _chance_ at a jpeg. 2 stars. I’m letting you keep one because I remember how things were before the dark times.

I like the game. It is easy to understand and it is a STAR-WARS-fan-worthy game.
