undoubtedly the best app on my phone. THIS IS NOT CHEATING! the developers have really taken all precautions to show just how useful this app is at HELPING with homework. this app simply ensures that when you do your homework, you’re doing the steps correctly and getting the right answer. often, I use the app to check my homework as opposed to using it at the first blink of confusion (as the naysayers might complain). by reviewing the problem step-by-step, I can find where I went wrong in my thought process (or if I just made a simple mathematical error!) and I can get back on the right track. by looking at the step-by-step explanations, I understand concepts much better. the app is slightly lacking in the explanation department—sometimes the wording is a little confusing, but I usually get the idea. I especially have benefitted from the inclusion of automatically graphing when possible. HOWEVER: sometimes it will graph with the x-axis as the vertical axis, and the y-axis as the horizontal axis, which then confuses me and makes me think the app is wrong. I wish it would just always stay with a horizontal x-axis and vertical y-axis (or just make it more obvious when the graph switches). it makes sense that the app can’t do word problems: but I can easily put word problems into their most complex number problem and then solve from there. I have to admit that as you go up in school, the app slightly loses usefulness, as more problems approach the “Sorry! We can’t solve this yet” point. but, especially for younger kids in elementary or middle school, the app has great prospects and immense usefulness. all around amazing app! 4 stars :) I HOPE THIS STAYS FREE FOREVER! I know in today’s world that will probably be difficult to do, but I don’t know what I’d do if some features became paid only. I appreciate the honest good meaning in this app. way to go, developers!
