I would have gladly used and kept to replace the iOS calendar app if it weren't for the Google Calendar tile in the home page not correctly reflecting the current day of the month instead of always at "31". With iOS Calendar the tile updates daily to display the current day in the month which is the quickest way I view the date for work daily. Might not seem like much but a deal breaker for me to not use Google Calendar.

  • Needs Background Refresh! Huge notification issue!

App does not update information, if entries are changed, elsewhere (i.e. via the desktop portal), unless you OPEN the App. Meetings that are canceled/deleted still provide notifications, while newly added meetings do not provide notifications. App needs the capability of pulling updates from the server, in the background, so everything is up-to-date, at any given time. Otherwise, works as expected for a mobile app.

I want to give you 5 stars; however, I can’t get the app icon to show up on the phone. I tried uninstalling and installing again. Didn’t work. I loved u until the icon kept saying waiting and would not let me access it. Please fix this‼️
  • Watch app please!!!

Can you please come out with an Apple Watch app? I love the Google Calendar app so much better than the Apple calendar I feel is much more user-friendly but I would like to be able to also pull it up on my watch.

  • Not the best app

    By Johnvj914
After all these years google can’t figure out how to show the current date on the app icon instead of “31” which is sad. It would be helpful if Saturday and Sunday with a different color like standard calendar. This is not the best calendar app out there.
  • Almost Everything I Need!

I could never understand why, when all things Apple replaced my Palm PDA, nobody could come close to the perfect calendar I had come to rely on - until this app. The color coding option is SO helpful, and it’s amazing (and a little weird) to see a photo of where I have to be when I enter the address of an appointment. My only request would be the ability to write a note for a particular date without making it a reminder, event, or goal. I don’t want to attach a time; I just want to make a note. That would make this a perfect app for me. (I haven’t had any of the problems that others have mentioned.)
