    Leaves a lot to desired.
  • All ads and maps I can’t get rid of .

    By Steve7135
Usta work . Lots of garish graphics that look like a children’s computer game . How is it possible to sell data paid for by taxes to an outfit like this who effectively mask its beneficial use by the people paying for it ? One more thing we don’t have time to go after .Go get NOAA NOW for what this app no longer provides .
  • Barometric pressure chart

  • It’s No RadarCast - It’s Actually Way Better!

    By Nicknamelessthanthirtychar
When the server was taken down for RadarCast, I began searching for a suitable substitute. This ain’t it. Embarrassed Update: turns out, the problem was operator (me) error. I’m using the free version so far, and once I learned how to navigate around the ad land mines this turns out to be a pretty nifty app. I now find it even more useful than RadarCast. One of the things I liked about RadarCast was it’s simplicity. I make the same 600+ mile road trip back and forth regularly. I can travel on any day I please, so I go on days with better weather. The way I used RadarCast was I set pins all along the route and then I just clicked on them to get current and future weather. Clean and easy. However, whatever this new (to me) app lacks in that kind of simplicity it more than makes up for in its richness of information. And considering the wealth of additional information presented, it is remarkably simple at that. I just had to learn how to use it effectively. I especially appreciate the 10day charts and the dynamic timeline obtained by running ones finger across the charts. Doing so reveals hourly precipitation, temp, wind, and barometric pressure. Also, you can see the big picture clearly just by glancing at the charts. Another plus for my particular use of the app is that as I move through it from one pin (location along my path) to another, the data presented are the same as for the previous location. That is, I don’t have to scroll up or down or click on a tab to get to the same place on the page as I was for the previous location on the map. Bottom line, this app facilitates my road trip planning better than any other one I’ve used. My apologies to the developers for my premature bum rap and my kudos to them for doing such a good job. Thanks!

  • Good Hurricane tracking

    By nicholas barretto
This app has very good Hurricane tracking in the world but the thing is the hurricane tracker doesn’t work right it doesn’t show the next advisory and the cone doesn’t change I hope the hurricane tracker on this app will be fixed during June 1st the start of hurricane season
  • Ad Trap - Surprised at NOAA

    By ScHrIaTp
Waaaay to much advertising. They are relentless and some are VERY scam-like. Could be a really good premium app too, but the auto-renewing subscription cost is much too high per day, per month OR per year. Another otherwise useful app ruined by greed.
  • Short name is misleading

    By ubkia
When the app is shown on my iPad it is "NOAA weather" but it is the radar app. When the weather app is shown it says "NOAA radar" Can you guys change the order of the words on the apps? The icon images are incredibly similar, that it is confusing too.
