  • Great for traveling or as a test tool!

    Super easy to use! We use BJN exclusively for video calls and deploy the app to our iOS users for on the go. Provided they are connected to WiFi, their meeting and call experience is great! I use it to test call quality and connectivity at least once a week. Support is fantastic as well.

    Our company has used BlueJeans for 6+ years now, connecting people all over the planet. It does a terrific job creating clean reliable meetings that are easy for our patrons and guests to attend. I’ve just been reading through several angry comments listed here and I have to say that their issues look like network, device problems, and user error in the overwhelming number of cases. Our only issue with the mobile app is that it’s limited to 640x480 @15fps. We’d love to see that brought on par with the desktop app.
  • Kills battery life

    Forgot to shut the app down on my iPhone and by end of day it consumed 48% of my battery life just running in the background. When using the app on a Mac 9/10 the app will not shut down (not even force shut down) requiring me to do a hard power down just to shut the app down.
  • Getting there, needs improvements

    I've been using BlueJeans for about six years now, so I have seen the product evolve for some time. The service itself is terrific, but the iOS app suffers from comparison to what is available through the desktop app these days. Dolby sound processing is great (!), but don't look for it in the iOS app. Image quality? 720p on the desktop (why no 1080?), but max 480p on iOS and only 15 frames per second. These deficiencies have made the app significantly less useful for us. Here's hoping they are addressed soon!
  • Latest version drains battery fast!

    After a 1 hour call, I noticed my phone was hot and the battery had dropped 20%. This didn’t happen on older versions.
  • Scheduling Conflicts

    For some reason, scheduling issues are abundant. Reschedule a meeting? Expect this app to keep the original time and add another meeting. The app should encourage use, not spending time finding a suitable work around
  • Helps me to stay connected on the go!

    The BlueJeans mobile app is easy to use and intuitive! As long as you’re wearing headphones (preferred) or not using speakerphone, the audio quality is good and the meeting controls are simple. As with any kind of streaming video, your experience is only as good as the connection on which you’re sitting, so if you’re not on wifi or in a bad service area, use low-bandwidth mode to make sure you (and everyone else on the call who might have to listen to you) have the best experience.

  • Completely unreliable

    Constant connectivity issues and dropped audio. Troubleshooting steps verge on the ridiculous with numerous permutations of launching from phone or app with various settings on/off. I’d toss this in a second if I could.
