App is great and integration with Alexa is awesome, just needs truly user history based dynamic playlist generation similar to the completion.

Terrible. It wiped out all my music and playlists. I got most of my music back by refreshing but it looks like the playlists are gone permanently.

This is my go-to music app. I pay extra for Amazon Prime Music or whatever and it’s totally worth it. Just about every song you could possible want to hear! And like, 1,000s more you DON’T want to hear. I mean, come on. Play “Fight The Good Fight” and get everything else from Triumph right the hell off there. Why is Vinnie Vincent Invasion even on there? Everyone knows Slaughter is where it’s at. Also, you can upload your own music! If you’re like me and you enjoy listening to yourself screaming obscenities while being strangled at different pressures, you can upload them yourself and listen from one of ten devices you can connect to your account! The only downside is that it has placed government spy, Alexa, onto the app. I’m already on the list. I’m not going to be any MORE on the list after you’ve listened to my conversations.

Good: I can listen to my entire MP3 collection (mostly--see #1 below) on any device, and I can download songs to listen in offline mode. Bad: (1) Some songs randomly cease to appear in my library on any device. This even happens with MP3s I bought directly from Amazon. There's no excuse for that, especially from the leader in B2B cloud services. (2) I frequently find that songs with explicit language have been replaced with censored versions, even though I've never owned censored versions of those albums. If I had some control over that, it might be nice for when kids are around, but right now I have no idea whether I'll hear the original version or Amazon's censored version. (3) Navigation is a pain. There are no scrolling shortcuts on the desktop version. You can only scroll through your entire library, unlike in iTunes, which lets you jump to specific letters of the alphabet by pressing the letter on your keyboard. The mobile app does let you jump to a specific letter. However, if you have songs in non-Roman alphabets, the mobile app will add those to the alphabet bar, thus leaving out letters of the English alphabet to compensate. Had to add a Roman letter to the beginning of those songs as a workaround. (4) Navigation again. You can't sort by album artist, as in iTunes--only by artist (per track), which breaks up albums that feature different artists on different tracks. (5) Playlists exist only in online or offline mode. You should be able to make a playlist with some songs that are downloaded on your device and others that remain in the cloud, so that when you go to offline mode, it can access the playlist but only plays the downloaded songs. Instead, you have to create an offline-only playlist on the specific device you'll be using offline, and you have to download the songs before going offline so that you can then add them to the playlist in offline mode. Overall, Amazon's cloud music service is worth just over $2/month if you have a large MP3 collection, but it's not great. Hopefully they're working on it.

My 5 year old granddaughter and I love it! She has no problem navigating, but I don't let her load songs...yet.

I like to listen to music on my app and online.

I love this app! I canceled my pandora for it. The ONLY thing I do not like, is not all the music is available all the time. Some of it is only available for a limited time. When I started my subscription, it was sold to me that all the digital amazon music would be available all the time. To me this is very frustrating, especially when I create a playlist.
