Description

IMPORTANT NOTE: For optimal use, Polycom recommends provisioning and management through Polycom RealPresence platform. Polycom RealPresence Mobile is for business professionals who want to extend their enterprise video collaboration capabilities beyond the office and conference room to their mobile devices. RealPresence Mobile is an easy-to-use video app that provides premium quality audio, video and content sharing. Cloud-based deployment gives users access to enterprise directories at the swipe-of-a finger. Users simply highlight a name, connect, and then collaborate. Features and Benefits: • Share the industry’s highest-quality audio, video and content through standards-based protocols using the latest in compression technologies • Protect your network and maintain high-scale call volume through tight integration with RealPresence Access Director • Leverage an intuitive, consistent user interface across your mobile, desktop and room-based systems for increased productivity without complex user training You must not be in violation of your wireless data service agreement, if any, when using Polycom RealPresence Mobile. Because some mobile network operators may prohibit or restrict the use of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) functionality over their networks, such as the use of VoIP telephony over a cellular network, and may also impose additional fees, or other charges in connection with VoIP, POLYCOM recommends that you check the terms of your agreement with the operator prior to any use of the RealPresence Mobile.

  • Missing self cam view

On IOS 11.2.5 this app is missing the self cam view. This is completely awful as you have no ideia what the cam orientation is nor if you are centralized. That alone makes this unusable over the phone.

This is an excellent little application, seems to work well for joining SIP/H.323 meetings and can even register as a SIP softphone! That being said, it’s going to be best used on properly configured WiFi, cellular might not work depending on your carrier and connection strength.

My mac road warriors use this to participate in enterprise wide video and audio conferences as well as with federated partners. Excellent audio quality, simple interface, good content sharing. We standardized on OS 10.0.2

iOS 10 is not compatible with this app as the Bluetooth no longer works. You can't hear any calls through your Bluetooth head phones anymore. Please update
  • Terrible usability, hopefully your it dept doesn't pick this

The mobile app seems to be des gene by the engineering team and is terribly inefficient to use...when you can get audio and video to actually work. On iOS 10, it doesn't work with Bluetooth audio. Please update this app- it hasn't been touched in 6 months which is inexcusable given the pace of OS updates and the functional issues.
  • Great audio and video

Let's me talk with people in the office or on the road. Works great with our company's employees and for independent people too.
  • I find value in it, but it's not great.

App has worked every time I've used it. Video is very pixelated, but that is to be expected. Audio transmission seems glitchy, and/or drops out completely after short during. But it makes a good AV tool. Not for novice users. - Lawrence M***

  • This App works fine but it is not for 'end users' to install and setup

The previous reviewer completely misunderstands what is spelled out in the information above and blindly asks why -after seeing it perform fine within network. As stated, the problem is your phone carrier may prevent it from running over their network. This app is ideal for schools using Polycom equipment and ipads. You can call a camera or a meeting room with it and it works fine across your network. To go outside your network on the internet you need a lot of other equipment and setups which may or may not be in place within your location. Consult your Networking & Systems groups. To go across a cellular network you need to know if the carrier will even allow it and if so, the setups required to do enable it. Setting up the Polycom infrastructure is no joke.
