This app is nowhere close to what it once was.
  • Improving

The producers of this app claim they had to rebuild it from scratch to comply with the new Apple OS. The result was a disaster, loosing almost every function of the original. (Note, I did not update the app on my iphone, and the original still works great. I wish I had NOT upgraded on my ipad!) Having said that, it is gradually improving. Lightning strikes are back, which was one if the best features of the original. For this reason, I’m now giving it 3 stars instead of one. If you don’t have this app, it’s worth taking a look at. (I hope the developers continue to improve it. I’d love to be able to give it 5 stars again.) If you have not downloaded this version, however, do yourself a favor and avoid this upgrade!

Used to be pretty good now it’s utterly useless. Avoid.

This radar app HAD a lot of functionality. The newer versions of this app have taken away features and placed them behind a monthly subscription. Instead of adding value and asking for users to subscribe, they have taken away features and asked us to pay for something we previously already had. Example of what not to do. Plus new version is not as fast and harder to use.

All the great features of the old version of this app are gone, the time frame is useless for gathering any worthwhile information and is no longer adjustable. Angry that I payed for this once great app.

Edit: enjoyed for years, paid for it originally but now it subscription based, it is useless garbage now.

Purchased this app a couple years ago for $5.99, and now I get no features I had before an update and now I have to pay more money? Terrible development wouldn’t spend a dime on this terrible app. I don’t get readings anymore and active weather status.
  • Bring back the layers

Over laying all the layers was the best feature, not you have to pick n choose, not good. Also, where are the fires? I used this app for the severe weather intel and now a lot of those features don’t work or are gone! Bring back the old stuff, please, I paid good money for this!
  • What a POS joke

A TORNADO WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS: B.... Oh can't click to see more ANYMORE. Sorry not sorry. Hope you enjoyed it for the past few years. No more detailed storm info either. When I hear "upgrade" I don't expect a downgrade. Seriously, free apps work better than this joke now which is absolutely disappointing. At least tell us the name of the new app you created that we get to give you more money for. Good job.

Ah, how I wish I could get a refund for this app. Since Apple only offers refunds during a 30 day window (or whatever it is, I can’t recall), I’m no longer eligible because I bought this app probably 2-3 years ago. Since then, they completely changed it, and now require a monthly subscription to view live radars and forecasts. I paid 2 or 3 dollars originally, and had full access. Now I don’t, because I don’t want to pay a monthly fee. If the developers/creators are reading this, please give me a refund and make it right since the app has changed and I no longer get what I paid for originally.
