Instagram is a simple way to capture and share the world’s moments. Follow your friends and family to see what they’re up to, and discover accounts from all over the world that are sharing things you love. Join the community of over 500 million people and express yourself by sharing all the moments of your day––the highlights and everything in between, too. Use Instagram to: * Post photos and videos you want to keep on your profile grid. Edit them with filters and creative tools and combine multiple clips into one video. * Share multiple photos and videos (as many as you want!) to your story. Bring them to life with text and drawing tools. They disappear after 24 hours and won't appear on your profile grid or in feed. * Go live to connect with your friends and followers right now. When you're done, live stories disappear. * Send disappearing photos and videos, text messages and posts from your feed to groups and friends with Instagram Direct. * Watch stories and live videos from the people you follow in a bar at the top of your feed. * Discover stories, photos and videos you might like and follow new accounts on the Explore tab. * Enable Handoff to switch between your Apple Watch and your iPhone.

  • What happened?

My iPad shows Instagram updated yesterday 2-20-18. It is now miniature. It takes up maybe a sixth of the screen.
  • Whay Happened To Searching For Tags?

Love It. My Favorite Social Media App. I Think They Should Bring Back Searching For Tags And Them Actually Appearing Though.....
  • Hashtags aren’t working

I’ve tried communicating haven’t gotten a reply. All of a sudden for a week all 30 hashtags aren’t working. So disappointed. Saw this happens before.
  • Where is everyone?

I enjoy the ease of the platform but wonder what all those people that I am following are doing.
  • Algorithm is awful.

I only follow about 200 people. I keep my feed small and follow people I actually want to see posts from. Currently, I only see about 20 of the bigger accounts. My husband just posted something I’m excited about. I was so pumped to see it on my feed. I kept scrolling, and scrolling and scrolling waiting to have this image pop up in my feed. Nope. It didn’t happen. You didn’t show me the picture MY HUSBAND POSTED! But never fear, I see the bigger accounts just fine. Seriously? If I pay you, can I see my husbands posts? Bring back chronological order! And if you don’t, will someone who’s reading this please make a knock off insta??
  • Use to love it but it keeps getting worse

    1. ads should be every 25 pics... not every 5 pics. Or better yet, Try offering an annual ad-free IG premium for $10 a year. 2. Bring back photo maps 3. Bring back chronological order in the main feed.(or at least give an option in the settings) 4. Stop putting “recommendations” in my main feed. There is already a whole freakin’ “magnifying glass” section where you recommend what you think I want to see... why the heck are you now cluttering the main feed. 5. Get back to being Instagram & stop trying to be Snapchat. 6. When a user switches on “use less data” then stop auto playing videos. 7. Stop deleting my reviews. This is the 4th time I’ve come to update my review, only to find that it was completely deleted. I find myself using IG less and less to see what my friends are up to because all of your changes have cluttered up what use to be a wonderfully clean and unique social media experience.
  • Going downhill

    By GamerGerman
IG used to be one of my favorite apps, but it’s really going downhill. They changed the feed so it doesn’t show chronologically anymore, and you have no options to control it. A horrible mistake IMO. At least with FB you can choose “most recent” and get chrono back. Not with IG, though. You’re trapped seeing whatever they want to show you. So now when I open it I routinely see stories first that are from 18hrs, 10hrs ago, etc. Also, the fact that you *still* can’t add text or draw on pictures you post is crazy. I can do this in FB messenger but not in a photo sharing app?! Change is good, but at least give the users some control of what they see!

My phone is up to date and Instagram is updated to the latest version but STILL NOT showing new text(font) update or new things!
