Hooray! This book is very sweet. I’ll be letting my little nephew listen to this very important lesson.

  • See Me

    By MrsLauraLee
This was my first audible book and I am not a reader. However, it was shared with me by a coworker and she was so excited about it. I gave it a try and quickly became intrigued. I found myself smiling at the dialogue and loved how the reader moved effortlessly from each character. I also enjoyed the usability of the app. I am excited to search the the next title to hear.

  • Heaven by Randy Alcott

    By LtcolonelUSARetired
Other than the Bible, this is the best book I have ever experienced about “eternal” life. Randy’s description of “Heaven” on the NEW earth makes perfect sense to me. Now I must rid myself of sin and share the good news of the second coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen! 🙏
  • The Most Gospel Centric Parenting Book Aside From The Bible

    By Nathan Coast
I was searching for a parenting book to help me rear a 2 year old and get my head around a second who is on his/her way. After reading some reviews I sought out this book on Audible. It was not what I was looking for. I wanted tips and tricks, a process or program to follow, a step by step manual of how to practically train my children to obey. I was profoundly disappointed in that this book provides none of those things but I was supremely satisfied in that I once again was searching for the wrong thing and was met by God via His people to show me the better thing. This book has changed the way I will view parenting (and a plethora of other things like marriage and ministry) forever. I plan on listening to it again a second time through with my wife and again probably on a biannual basis to remind myself of the roles we parents play as ambassadors of Christ to our children at the various life stages then enter. I’ll be honest and say I’ve heard the gospel in many a way growing up in a Bible teaching church all my life and now teach the Bible to middle school students regularly, but Paul Tripp showed me a way of gospel infused parenting in a manner that made more sense to me than ever. Not in a “I’ve never heard the gospel before” way, but a deep, thought provoking, heart changing “the gospel and our response to it is central to all aspects of life including this one” kind of way. Hopefully that makes sense and is helpful to someone. If you’re on the fence about the purchase, take the plunge and prepare to be disappointed for practicalities in trade of a theologically rich gospel centric worldview that will not leave you feeling disappointed but humbled and empowered to do what God has asked His people to do in raising our children to know Him and their great need for His rescue. I will not be able to praise the lessons learned in this book enough. It’s so basic and fundamentally Biblical but so radically different than what I’ve found even in Christian circles of thought and advice on parenting.

  • Download interface is clunky

    By Shaun0388
I like being able to listen to books on any of my devices and having them sync. The app is a real pain to download in though. If you don’t keep the app open for the download, it will usually stop downloading. I should be able to click download for all titles and walk away, but I find that I have to stop and restart the download several times to get them to finish. Once the books are downloaded it’s a great app. 21-Jul-18 - I received a response from the developer saying “You should be able to continue your download if the is in the background”. What I should be able to do, what I can actually do are different things. The app does not continue to download if I am not actually in the app. If I go back to the app, I am able to continue a download sometimes, but other times I have to cancel it and restart it. I will be canceling my monthly auto subscription to Audible because of this frustration and looking at other apps or means of listening to audio books. If I am giving you my money, fix your app, do not tell me I am doing something wrong when I am not.
