Every scan results in a crash of the app before anything else happens.

I installed this app after searching for a FREE app I could use for an urgent need. This app description clearly says it’s 100% FREE but I was charged 49.99 for it. Nowhere in the description I saw there was a charge. Therefore I did not have the opportunity to evaluate if I wanted to purchase this or not. I was imposed and charged more than 50$ without my consent. I demand immediate refund of $55.54 which was charged to my card.

This app has very predatory pricing. It pops up an interstitial and if you accidentally hit the wrong button it starts hitting your with a $5 a month subscription. No QR code reader is worth $260 a year.

  • Scam traps you in a $9.99/month subscription

It is way too easy to tap on the wrong place among ads popping up then you find that you bought a subscription for $9.99/ month. Next you have to spend time figuring out how to cancel said subscription which is a convoluted process: Settings > iTunes &App Stores > tap your Apple ID on top of the screen > View Apple ID > Subscriptions Otherwise the app seems to work well but this subscription business really made me angry as you can tell.

Complete ripoff app. Once it’s on your phone it will start charging you $5 per week. There are so many free apps which read QR codes. Why would anyone pay so much?
