  • Terrific second phone

    We use Line2 frequently in various locations across the USA. We travel in our motor home and have used Line2 even when our cell phone has no service. As long as we can connect to a WiFi network we’ve got a phone - with Line2! Thanks for a gr8 app for the phone and iPads, too!

    I got since out of it one and a few months back and haven’t been able to get back on since due to the fact it keeps saying my email isn’t valid when i know it is Bad app

    Have had the app for about 3 years and every so often will not receive texts or calls. Very annoying that I have to keep reopening app to get messages to load. iOS is updated and app is updated but still the same problem. Please help.

    I have been using Line2 for over 4 years. It’s been a Godsend for us. We have a small Film/TV/VO production company. So having to spend a few hundred or even a few thousand for a phone system was out of the question. I love that you can screen your calls! Google should learn a bit from these guys. I use to have a Google Talk number and it was never really reliable. ( I will sometimes use Google Talk for people I don’t want to give any “real” info to. LOL ) I also know a few actors and industry people that use it as their business or even sometimes their “Public” phone. As you can see there are a lot of uses to having a second line. Plus, it eliminates the need to carry 2 phones. The ability to text is important too. Along the way, I have had to deal with this company’s growing pains. What I have found is that they keep improving their services and even better they keep the price at an affordable price point, making them even more enticing. As far as having glitches... Yes, there are times where there have been dropped calls or you can’t hear the other line that well. What you will find is it really depends on how strong your signal is (if you are on a cell phone) or how your home WiFi’s signal strength is. The other issues might arise from how many apps you have running on your phone at the same time, therefore taking away from the “juice” needed to feed your calls. For those of you that use VPN’s for security reasons, you may find it will slow your phone’s down and therefore affect your Line2 service. Again, for the price, and what you get, I think it’s a good deal. I would also just keep sending Line2 your thoughts (and glitches) so they can guide you to a better Line2 experience and make the needed improvements. * I do not work for Line2 nor was I given anything for this report/post*

  • All they want to do is charge you for a year service $99

    I signed up for wine too. And whenever I called I requested a monthly cost and I was quoted cost for a year. They attempted to go ahead and start my service and I let her know that I only wanted the seven day service and I would make a decision after that. Once my free trial began I received numerous text and calls wanting to know how my phone service was. I told them just like I did the first woman that I spoke to that I would not be using the service yet I was needing to go ahead and get the telephone number and use it to set up a business. I again received numerous calls wanting to know how my service was every time I spoke to someone I told them I wanted to be on the monthly plan and the last conversation I had with someone I told them I wanted to be on the monthly plan that I financially cannot afford a year in advance sine it’s a new business. I ask to be put on the monthly plan again!!!!!!! I received a text from line 2 and a email from my bank letting me know I had overdrafts my account and would have another amount of $35 applied along with the over drafted amount. Now there is no way to call these people after they text and call me numerous times this past week. I’m starting to receive calls from other people so I guess this one was used recently and now I get to receive their calls to my telephone number. I am not happy with the way they set up my service and did not listen when they called me numerous times during the free trial. I’m not happy with the way you cannot get a hold of them that everything now is done through emails. I’m not happy with the way my telephone number Not cleared of old numbers or making it away that I get a fresh start on the use of my phone instead of other people’s telephone numbers coming in.
