I really liked this app. The first few lessons were boring vacation de I had a little experience with the guitar. The other lessons were more interesting and I actually learned things unlike my experience with Jamplay.😊

I signed up for a Fender Play free trial account. I decided to cancel the service. I was unable to cancel the subscription through Fender's website or app. Nor was I able to cancel through the Apple Store as Fender instructs on their site. Fender subscription charged to my PayPal account, and the subscription fee of $9.99 clearly shows Fender Digital LLC as the seller. I spoke with Fender customer service, they had no record of a billing transaction and said they saw no account under my email account. Their suggestion – get in touch with Apple, Through Apple, I would have to cancel my subscription. I called Apple customer service. They showed no subscription account for Fender on record. Fender Play iOS and Fender's website have a no record of my account, but they are charging me and a monthly fee. Fender Play may be an excellent app for subscription, but the logistics for subscribing or unsubscribing to the service has been a nightmare.

Good lessons, better to start with than YouTube for me (total beginner). Really needs an Apple TV app.

This app does what it says, but when you’ve grown tired of being charged $9.99 a month, good luck getting it to stop.
  • Not for bass

As a bass player I thought the app was great until I found that there was not a Bass option.. there is acoustic electric and ukulele options but no bass. Looked at the videos anyway and everything looks great.. Fender please add bass to this. I got the Rumble 200 and a P-bass

If you accidentally hit “articles”in the app, which is easy to do with your knuckle when you’re holding a guitar pick, the only way to return to your lesson is to kill the app and start over. Get the windows app. It is much better.

It made me create an account - fine. It wanted me to subscribe to start the free trial - cool. It will not move from there. It wants me to subscribe again, but when I click it - it says I already subscribed (really!?)

I barely have touched a guitar before I started this. I thought that I would do the app to learn a little then take lessons. Between this and getting together with some friends I’m very pleased with my progress
